FORT MYERS, Fla. (Jan. 16, 2017) — The new 55-plus community of Campo Felice Retirement Living, opening soon on the site of the former Amtel Hotel in the Downtown Fort Myers Historic River District has secured 85 deposit reservations, announced Jeff Barney, Director of Sales. The 24-story rental community of 322 independent-living suites by The MacFarlane Group LLC is coming to life at 2500 Edwards Drive, overlooking the Fort Myers River Basin in the Downtown Fort Myers Historic River District.
Campo Felice (camp-oh fel-LEE-chay) offers seven one-bedroom floor plans and a two-bedroom plan ranging from 556 to 933 square feet of living space. Each suite offers wood flooring, granite countertops, oversized vanity mirrors and full kitchens with stainless-steel appliances. Some have balconies, and guest suites for family and friends will be available by request.
Community amenities include four eateries, wellness center, game room, private theatre, salon and spa, dog park, resort-style pool, private transportation and concierge services. A major component of the $68 million community will be supportive services that focus on providing state-of-the-art fitness equipment and instruction, as well as health and wellness programs.
